![]() ![]() These grips fit the metal frame perfectly but they will not fit the 22/45s with the plastic frame. It should be noted that I have a MK IV 22/45 LIte with a metal frame. You simply have to see and hold the grips to truly appreciate their craftsmanship and beauty. It's not often I find a product that exceeds expectations but I have to say the Blue Kirinite Grips I received from Eagle Grips more than surpassed any expectation I had in regard to the grips. Mistakes happen but this is a company I would trust again and highly recommend to anyone wanting high quality grips made. Normally I'd be upset that a company would let the initial grips I got slip thru but the service I received from Raj to correct the issues was phenomenal and it demonstrated this company strives to only satisfy their customers. I received the new set in about 10 days that were beautifully made and fit perfect. I explained my product issues and he apologized saying they had a new guy who had let the defected grip slip through and would send me a new set immediately. However, I then received a call directly from Raj S (company CEO) private cell b number telling me they were having problems with their phone service. I honestly thought they were hanging up on me. I contacted customer support and was getting hung up on each time I was speaking to a representative. ![]() Poor finish, cut/ shaped incorrectly, just terrible. The first set I received was honestly poor quality. “Oh, that’s nice!” and “Where can I get a set of these?” were common comments. Our range partners and fellow NRA pistol instructors with M9/92 experience all had stupid grins on their faces when they tried out the new grips. Now the screws fit flush, and I am no longer bothered by the untidy look of random screw slot orientations. We performed a side-by-side comparison test between a new Beretta 92 FS INOX with factory grips versus the Wife’s 1987 model with the new Eagle grips. So, I replaced the screws with a Beretta Stainless Allen-Hex Grip Screw Kit with rubber washers. ![]() These grips are made from the harder Indian Rosewood, so the colors run more towards dark chocolate than the reddish tones commonly found in Honduran or Guatemalan Rosewood. The upper grip screw on the right side of the frame is right in the middle of the trigger finger grove and the original slotted screw stood annoyingly proud of the wood. The checkering provides a positive grip without being obnoxiously sharp. The grips are ambidextrous, so lefties take note. The thumb rest and trigger finger grove help weld the gun to her hand, and most importantly they reduce the bulk of the grip, which helps shooters with smaller hands handle the thicker double stack frame. I bought these for the Wife’s stainless 92 FS because these grips are drop dead gorgeous, and they really dress up the look of her pistol. ![]()
